    Description

This is a 3.6 HP, 2100 RPM, 36 volt DC motor that is slightly used for sale.  I have 9 of them in stock right now.  3/4" shaft diameter as shown in photos.  This motor will rotate in either direction by changing the polarity of the 36 volts on the two input leads.  This is rated for continuous duty and is built on the 66L frame.  This is an amazing work horse which has been removed from large commercial floor burnishers that are difficult to ship.   I have a flat rate shipping charge of to the lower 48 states.  This motor weighs about 50 pounds.
I will ship one of my identical forty-five motors I have in stock.  I am prompt in my shipping as I know you need this or you would not be ordering it.  Promptly shipping from Dayton, Ohio 45402.
Now, everyone wants to know about a speed controller.  I am attaching a chart showing that 3.6 HP equals 2685.6 watts.  To be safe your controller should be rated at 2700 watts to give you some safety factor.  Since the voltage is 36 volts, the amp rating should be 3000 divided by 36 which is 83.33 amps.  To be safe, lets round that up to 85 amps.  In conclusion, your speed controller needs to be rated at 36 volts and 85 amps with a total capacity of at least 2700 watts.  You can check all this yourself or talk to an electrician buddy.  These are very big strong motors and you should be able to build some nice things with them.
